This article explores the vulnerabilities of standard wound care in disaster scenarios and introduces the concept of ‘Disaster Preparedness Aesthetics.’ It highlights the need for ‘Grab-and-Go’ kits with sterile, simplified supplies and ‘Simplified SOPs’ designed for extreme conditions. New metrics like the 72-Hour Infection Control Rate (ICR-72) and Care Portability Score (CPS) are proposed to measure a clinic’s disaster resilience, emphasizing a shift from fragile beauty to resilient beauty.
